Senior Structural Engineer – Infrastructure & Commercial
Position Overview
Prestigious engineering consultancy delivering major infrastructure, seismic resilience, and commercial developments across the South Island. Immediate sponsorship on the Green List Tier 1 eligible list for qualified Chartered Engineers.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead structural design calculations, seismic analysis (NZS 1170.5), and detailing for commercial projects
- Prepare design documentation and PS1 Producer Statements for council building consents
- Conduct site inspections and construction monitoring (CM3 / CM4)
- Liaise with architects, municipal authorities, and project managers
Candidate Requirements & Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor of Engineering (Civil/Structural) - Washington Accord accredited
- CPEng New Zealand registration or chartered status with IChemE/ICE/Engineers Australia
- 5+ years post-graduate structural engineering experience
- Proficiency in ETABS, SAP2000, and Revit
Green List Tier 1 (Straight to Residence)
